| System Description: | Program IDE is a systematic strategy trading Ten Year Notes, US Dollar Index and S&P500 E Mini. The program aims to capture movements in both rising and falling environments. The program is driven by a quantitative approach that combines macro economic forecasting models and technical systems. The macro factors provide complementary information to technical factors and the aim is to achieve greater stability robustness by combining the two types of factors. The program uses a multi model approach, with each sub model generating its own directional score. The sub model output scores are aggregated using a consensus method to derive the top level signal. The sub models give near term forecasts based on analysis of the following: inflationary forces, equity market risk appetite, and dynamics in interest rates. The program manages risk through trailing exit levels. The program is medium frequency and does approximately 3 trades per week on average. |
