System Description: | Delphi II, introduced in May, 2007, is the result of applying an annual proprietary walk-forward optimization routine to the original Delphi Universal system, which was released in September of 2005. This walk-forward protocol allows Delphi II to reasonably adapt to changing market conditions by incorporating the latest year’s data into the study pool, yielding a more robust set of parameters that are able to operate over a wider range of market dynamics. Delphi II is based on a proprietary channel whose speed and width adapt to changes in volatility. For the emini Russell 2000 there are two versions of Delphi II, Aggressive and Conservative. As the names imply, Conservative trades a wider and slower channel, with about half the number of trades as Aggressive. Remarkably, the two versions have a low correlation of .27, which makes them a good trading pair. |
