| System Description: | An MES swing system currently traded by the developer who has 15+ years’ experience. The system trades long only and seeks to catch multi-day bounces from over-sold conditions. A proprietary filter is used to avoid trades when the risk/reward ratio is unfavorable or there is a heightened risk of drawdown. This can occasionally result in multi-month flat periods when previous profits are protected from unnecessary risk. The system is robust with simple logic and may hold positions for several days in order to generate increased returns per trade. |
