System Description: | Early Bird is a mechanical daytrade system designed for the S$P and E-Mini Futures Contracts. The Early Bird was developed by Lincoln Fiske, and began trading in February 1999. The system consists of a combination of trend and contra-trend components and trades approximately 4 times a month. Each one is designed to take advantage of specific and distinct market characteristics. Entry and exit signals are based on a simple and distinct quantifiable price action. Volatility and time also play a part in the generation of trading signals. Money management strategies employ a combination of initial stops, break-even stops, and in some cases, profit objectives. -------------- Looks for a particular type of volatility and uses a specific measure of market strength and directionality |
