| System Description: | Gator is a mean-reversion (countertrend) swing trading system that recognizes high-probability reversal points in up and down trends. Gator enters the market long or short with two contracts: The first contract is sold at a volatility-based variable profit level while the second contract utilizes a protective trailing stop in order to catch bigger trends. The Gator Platinum Portfolio consists of all available Gator strategies for six different markets and is especially suited for medium- to large-capitalized accounts. By trading a diversified set of six markets the equity curve is smoothened, less initial capitals is needed, and (in our opinion most important) the drawdown is substantially reduced compared to trading single systems only. As only very high-probability setups are used to enter the market, the Gator Platinum Portfolio systems usually trade about 60 times a year.
