| System Description: | Gator is a mean-reversion (countertrend) swing trading system that recognizes high-probability reversal points in up and down trends. Gator enters the market long or short with two contracts: The first contract is sold at a volatility-based variable profit level while the second contract utilizes a protective trailing stop in order to catch bigger trends. As only very high-probability setups are used to enter the market, Gator CT usually trades about 10-20 times a year. Gator works on many markets with the same basic code and logic (please also see our other systems and portfolios), designed to be a robust system. Our system development process utilizes (amongst others) industry-standard walk-forward, distribution and in-depth Monte Carlo analyses.
