| System Description: | This is really two systems in one, creating a system that is both a trend and a mean-reversion model. One part uses a handful of indicators that tells us when the bulls got the bear on the run, & puts the pedal to the metal when they do. This has its roots in Market Profile, where bears think that higher prices are a "better value" to be getting short, when in reality, what they are failing to realize, is that the higher prices are actually bringing in MORE buyers, not shutting them off. The other part of the system which also hails from the Market Profile playbook hunts for big "Buying Tails" in which the market leaves behind a clear reference point that prices have become unfairly to low in the day time frame. This model only takes long trades, and closes out every position by the end of the trading day. |
