| System Description: | Oak Tree CL is an intraday breakout system that enters the market long or short with one contract if a breakout is likely. The system exits either by the end of the day or if the inital stop loss (~1,150 USD) is hit. The system development period ended in 2017 and the out-of-sample results in 2018 are very good, despite the turmoils in crude oil in the end of 2018. Our system development process utilizes (amongst others) walk-forward and cluster analysis to reduce the chance of overfitting.
